Pre Production Coordinator
Reports to Project Manager Type of position: Full-time
Hours: 50-60 / week
Salary

General Description
The Pre-production Coordinator is responsible for insuring that all records are current and correct in all job files. A “latest revision” flat file must be maintained and all in house copies of distributed shop drawings must kept up to date. Insure that contractor has the latest revisions of all shop drawings. All quantities; panels, soil mats and loose items on the shop plans are to be counted and confirmed correct. The coordinator must work with the Project Manger to ensure accurate plans are generated in a timely manner. Once generated the coordinator will review these drawings, and provide opportunity for the appropriate operations personnel to review the drawings. Upon completion of review and corrections (if needed) the pre-production coordinator is responsible for the submission, and tracking of these drawings to ensure their approval in a manner consistent with typical expectations. Once drawings are approved and released to the plant the pre-production coordinator will assist in addressing production issues with the quickly resolve problems in production as they arise.
Primary duties
-Assist with the drawing approval process to insure in a timely return of the submittal.
-Work with the Project Manager to assure swift completion of submittal drawings.
-Review drawings for error and coordinate with appropriate production personnel to ensure drawing accuracy.
-Submit drawings for approval and track progress of submittal drawings.
-Maintain a latest revision flat file and insure that required documents are in the job file. .
Secondary duties
-Inform all pertinent personnel of drawing progress during the pre-production stage
-Assist in addressing production issues with drawings.
-Field calls from customers that deal with field questions concerning, quantities, obstructions, casting errors and shipping problems.
-Perform all duties as assigned by Project Manager.
-Interact with all personnel in production as well as operations management to report any abnormal issues that may arise
-Work closely with the production department to keep drawings flowing to them to ensure revenue levels are maintained

PRODUCT MANAGER - PRECAST CONCRETE BRIDGE SYSTEM

SALES ENGINEER - CIVIL/HEAVY HIGHWAY PRECAST

Civil Engineer

Quality Control Technician
We are currently seeking Quality Control Technician.

Quality Control Technicians are responsible for the inspection and acceptance of all aspects of the production from formwork to DOT acceptance


The primary duties are:
-Inspection of formwork and reinforcing steel placement.
-Testing and Inspection of concrete placement
-Verify appropriate curing methods
-Verify appropriate repair procures.
-Coordinate daily with Line Supervisor & Production Manager regarding schedule and quality issues
-Coordinate with TXDOT and 3rd party QA inspection personnel for the inspection and acceptance of products
-Maintain required paperwork


The secondary duties are:
-Seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce product damage
-Perform all duties at the discretion of the Quality Control Manager

Bi-Lingual Preferred
ACI Field Technician Grade 1 required

Line Supervisor
We are currently seeking Line Supervisors. Line supervisors are responsible for all aspects of the production in regards to the items they are responsible for manufacturing. Raw production material inventories are to be verified and maintained weekly. Line supervisor is responsible for the efficient production of the line labor, and the quality of product manufactured. Line supervisor is also responsible for the maintenance of all items of his line and the cleanliness of his line. Line supervisor is to coordinate with product manager to ensure that customer deliveries are met within reason. Line Supervisor is to coordinate with the maintenance and fabrication departments to ensure his production line is well maintained and functioning properly.

The primary duties are:
-Maintain raw production material inventories
-Supervise crews to ensure efficient production of quality product
-Coordinate production with product manager to meet customer schedules
-Coordinate line maintenance with maintenance and fabrication department
-Maintain line cleanliness

The secondary duties are:
-Prepare meetings and instruct employees on safety
-Seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce product damage
-Perform all duties at the discretion of the Plant Manager

Lead Batch Man
Lead batch man is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the batch plant. Employee must be very familiar with the batching process in order to produce a quality end product. Maintenance of raw material inventories and scheduling of loads also fall under the responsibilities of the lead batch man. Timely efficient batching of quality concrete and prompt delivery of the concrete are essential to performing the job. Lead batchman is to ensure that the batch plant is properly cleaned and maintained at all times. Employee will be responsible for anywhere between 3 and 5 other employees including the assistant batch man/loader operator, and the mixer truck drivers.

Primary duties include:
-Perform all functions responsible for producing quality concrete of good consistency.
-Keep batch plant well maintained and cleaned so as to minimize downtime due to mechanical failure
-Monitor and maintain raw material, and chemical inventories.
-Manage subordinate employees to maximize working efficiency
-Maintain and clean ancillary equipment including loader and mixer trucks.

Secondary duties include:
-Coordinate with QC to make adjustments and strive for continual improvement in concrete quality
-Train assistant batch man/loader operator to batch in case of absence or emergency
-Work closely with Production Forman to minimize lost concrete through over production
-Perform all duties at the discretion of the plant manager.
